FitsAir Launches Direct Flights to Kuala Lumpur, Expanding Regional Connectivity

Sri Lanka’s first privately-owned international airline, FitsAir, is set to strengthen its regional network with the introduction of direct flights to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The airline announced that this move further solidifies its position as Sri Lanka’s leading low-cost carrier, offering affordable and reliable air travel.

The new route will officially commence on April 4, 2025, with four weekly flights connecting Colombo to Kuala Lumpur. To celebrate the launch, FitsAir is introducing a special return fare of Rs. 65,300, which includes 20kg checked baggage and 7kg hand luggage, ensuring a comfortable and budget-friendly journey.

According to FitsAir, this expansion aligns with its commitment to meeting the growing demand for cost-effective air travel, positioning itself as a key player in the region’s aviation industry.

This new Kuala Lumpur route is expected to boost trade, tourism, and travel opportunities, reinforcing the airline’s mission to enhance accessibility and affordability for passengers.

FitsAir’s expanding network already includes destinations like Malé, Dubai, Dhaka, and Chennai, with seamless connections through its hub in Colombo. The airline continues to prioritize on-time performance, safety, and customer satisfaction, making travel more convenient for passengers across the region.
