Luxury Vehicle Without License Plates Found in Former Minister’s Wife’s Residence Amidst Mirihana Police Operation

In a special operation conducted by the Mirihana Police, an unregistered luxury vehicle lacking license plates was found at the residence of former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte’s wife. Acting on a tip-off, the police obtained a court order to search a three-story house on Salawa Road, Ambuldeniya, Mirihana, where the vehicle was discovered.

The police report that the car had no license plates or keys at the time of discovery. Upon questioning, the former state minister and his wife disclosed that the car had been placed in the garage by their recently deceased personal secretary.

Following an intensive effort, the vehicle was transported to the Mirihana Police Station. The police will proceed with further investigations once a forensic report is obtained, in accordance with court orders.
