Trump Appoints 13-Year-Old Cancer Warrior as Youngest-Ever Secret Service Agent

In a historic moment, former U.S. President Donald Trump appointed 13-year-old Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel as a U.S. Secret Service agent on Tuesday, making him the youngest individual to receive this prestigious title.

During his address to Congress, Trump directed Secret Service Director Sean Curran to grant DJ official credentials, fulfilling the boy’s dream of becoming a law enforcement officer. DJ, who has been bravely fighting a rare form of cancer for years, was overwhelmed with joy as he embraced Curran after receiving the honor.

“This young man is beyond thrilled to be here,” Trump stated as the audience erupted in applause. Lawmakers from both parties, including more than a dozen Democrats, stood in unity to celebrate DJ’s remarkable moment. His father lifted him high as the crowd passionately chanted his name.

Trump went on to announce that DJ would be formally sworn in by the newly appointed Secret Service director and receive his badge from Curran. However, the mood shifted as Trump transitioned to health policy discussions, leading to a stark divide among lawmakers. While Republicans cheered, Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib silently protested by holding up a whiteboard that read, “You cut cancer research,” prompting a Republican in the audience to shout, “MAHA baby!”
