WWE Legend Hulk Hogan Dies at 71

World-renowned professional wrestling legend and two-time WWE Hall of Fame inductee Hulk Hogan passed away early today (July 24, 2025) at the age of 71. According to international media reports, the cause of death was a sudden heart attack that occurred at his home in Clearwater, Florida. He was rushed to a hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Born Terry Gene Bollea, Hulk Hogan rose to international fame in the 1980s as one of the most iconic figures in professional wrestling, particularly under the WWE brand. Known for his massive physique, signature handlebar mustache, trademark bandana, and electrifying charisma, Hogan became a cultural phenomenon and a global superstar.

Throughout his career, Hogan claimed numerous world championships and headlined eight WrestleMania events. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice, solidifying his status as one of wrestling’s most influential figures. Beyond the ring, he also left his mark in mainstream entertainment, appearing in various films and television shows.

In recent months, particularly in May 2025, Hogan reportedly underwent surgery on his neck, sparking rumors that his health had severely declined and that he was in a coma. At the time of his death, Hulk Hogan was the father of two children, Brooke Hogan and Nick Hogan.
